The Userame will be your unique identifier on this web site. It can be pretty much anything you want it to be.
Generally, though, it is best to use a name that will allow others to know who they are interacting with.
Names like SnakeEater or L337H4XX0R don't really do that. JohnS or JSmith or JonSmith is usually a better choice.
